Pictures from The High Sheriff's Midsummer's Day Walk in Chatsworth Park

Three hundred walkers thoroughly enjoyed the High Sheriff’s Midsummer’s Day Evening Walk in Chatsworth Park, a fundraising event in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care organized by Auriol Cumming and Annie Sheldon. Guests could choose from either a four mile or a six mile circular walk from the Stables, along the stunning scenery of Chatsworth Park, through Beeley, up to the Hunting Tower and back to the Stables for a delicious Hog Roast. They were wonderfully entertained during supper with music from the Derby Grammar School Jazz Band. The weather on the evening was magical with a full moon appearing on the drive home to round off a very happy and well supported event.
