More than 10,000 was conjured up for Wirral Hospice St John’s at The May Magic Ball at Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa. Magician The Fabulous Devlin wowed the audience with spectacular tricks and band, The Coolers, provided musical entertainment.
The staggering amount of money raised was done through a raffle, tombola and auction which included prizes like a sculpture by artist Emma Rogers, a painting by hospice patient Francis Campbell-Smith and a one week stay in Greek island, Santorini.
