Some 200 business leaders and dignitaries, including the Mayor of Sevenoaks Cllr Margaret Crabtree, enjoyed a Champagne reception, live jazz and demonstrations from the pub’s cask ale and premium spirits suppliers at the VIP re-launch of The Rose & Crown in Dunton Green. The new-look dining pub on London Road re-opened earlier this year following a �650,000 refurbishment and the creation of 35 new jobs. Original features such as the old beams and open fireplaces have been retained, but enhanced by contemporary touches that include leather sofas and chairs and luxurious soft furnishings. Landlord Jason Moran said: “We offer a premium eating-out experience in a traditional pub environment. Our aim is to be the perfect country pub.”
