Chefs and restaurateurs from across the UK and Ireland were recognised at the tenth annual Hi-Life Dining Awards, held at The Hilton, Manchester Deansgate Hotel in association with Secured Mail.

The event was presented by BBC North West Tonight presenter Gordon Burns and guests enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a four course dinner prepared by award winning Manchester chef David Gale and entertainment from Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley.

A silent auction and raffle raised over �7,000 pounds for the nominated charity, the NSPCC.
