Keeping things moving with 3D virtual reality marketing
In 2017, at Dales & Peaks, we made the decision to vastly improve our marketing, adapting to an ever-evolving digital landscape, a landscape which is, in many ways, significantly changing consumer behaviour and, specifically to our sector, the way in which people buy and sell homes for the better.
Our modern, innovative marking techniques, which allow all of our sale properties to be viewed online via virtual reality 3D tours, is helping us to keep ahead of the curve, enabling our marketing function to keep moving with the times; giving our buyers the opportunity to keep viewing homes from the comfort of their own home at any time of the day.
Before this worldwide pandemic which has affected us all, our homes were getting viewed more – and getting sold faster – than our competition but now we are, as far as we know, the only agent that can keep going at a reasonable pace without, crucially, risking anyone’s health – employees or clients.
Our extensive 3D tours give our buyer a fully immersive experience. You can look round a home online at your leisure as if you were there, going from room to room and looking round each area of the property. We can even tag features so viewers know what brand of oven is in a property and we have sold properties this way, because they’re that clear.
Our 3D tours can be viewed on Rightmove, our website, or even via a remote link which allows us to talk you around the property remotely and answer any questions that you may have - as if we were there in person.
This technology, which we originally added into our sales package as a novelty over two years ago, has quickly become one of the most important and effective tools we use here at Dales & Peaks.

The tours can be accessed at any time of the day, from anywhere in the world and, because we use these on every home we sell, they’re unbelievably good value.

Tom Currey - Sales Director email@example.com Tom joined Dales & Peaks as a partner in 2016 and now heads up the company’s exciting growth plan and industry leading marketing, as well as overseeing all the residential sales valuations. Since Tom joined Dales & Peaks he has headed up the complete overhaul of the company image, reinventing Dales & Peaks as one of the most modern agents in the region, grown the sales team and been at the forefront of the growth including the acquisition of a rival firm and opening of new sites.
Sarah Currey - Managing Director firstname.lastname@example.org Sarah set up Dales & Peaks in 2006 with her husband John. Over the years Sarah has become well respected for her expertise in the industry and customer service. Initially starting off with a couple of properties but many of Sarah’s property development customers from her vast banking background became clients of Dales & Peaks which helped to grow the business into what is today.
John Currey - Director email@example.com John has been in the property business since 2006. He is our Energy Performance Assessor and undertakes all of our floorplans. He also oversees our maintenance department for lettings which helps keep everything running smoothly on that side.
Demi Macluskey - Lettings Manager demi@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Demi joined Dales & Peaks in 2019 and has rapidly learnt the ins and outs of our incredibly busy lettings division, overseeing one of the region’s largest lettings portfolios and a growing team across Chesterfield and Matlock.
Amy Rees - Matlock Branch Manager amy@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Amy joined Dales & Peaks in 2019 as we were acquiring rival firm TPS and played a key role in the development of customer service, Amy now oversees our Matlock branch which covers both sales and lettings.
Debbie Seymour - Sales Negotiator debbie@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Debbie has a keen passion for property and experience both in the industry and property development herself, so plays a key role in our sales team. Debbie has been with Dales & Peaks since 2010 and now oversees viewings and sales progressions in Matlock.
George Hadfield - Financial Director george@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk George knows Dales & Peaks inside out, having worked in the business since school starting as an accounts apprentice, George now heads up the accounts department and plays an incredibly key role as Dales & Peaks grows.
Isla Smith - Sales Manager isla@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Isla joined Dales & Peaks in 2018 and has played a key role in developing our residential sales division to what it is today. Since starting Isla has assisted in growing the sales team, oversees sales staff development and training as well as overseeing the entire sales operation for both our Chesterfield and Matlock branches.
Dawn Hart - Property Manager dawn@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Dawn’s day to day job is managing the tenancies and making sure our landlords receive a level of service second-tonone once the tenants have moved into their properties. Dawn has been in the property industry for over 20 years and joined us in 2017 with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Bethany Anderson - Applicant Manager bethany@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Bethany oversees tenant applications in our busy lettings department and is the first point of contact for tenants wanting to arrange viewings or reserve a rental property. Bethany has been with Dales & Peaks since 2019.
Emily Morgan - Sales Negotiator emilym@ dalesandpeaks.co.uk Emily joined Dales & Peaks in 2019 during the growth of our busy sales team as a trainee negotiator, since joining Emily has played a key role in ensuring our buyers and sellers receive fantastic service throughout the process of their sale.
