Q: What should I consider when choosing my new kitchen?
A: Think about the style you’d like - would you prefer a traditional kitchen, or something more modern? The latest German style of sleek, handle-less kitchens is stunning.
Next, look at the space you have. There are options for rooms of all sizes, from the latest open-plan style with statement islands, to the cosy, country-style kitchen.
You may need more storage if your current layout doesn’t suit your needs. Older kitchen designs are not always fit for modern life.
Also consider if you need deeper or taller units, or even curved or angled units - all of which we can accommodate.
The lighting you choose and where it’s placed can make a big difference too. You can have pendant and zone lighting, both of which can enhance the finished look.
Q: What are your kitchen ‘do’s and don’ts’?
A: Where you place things is important – for example, it’s best to have a bigger worktop space next to the oven for meal preparation.
Look at how much natural light the room lets in and choose colours to complement – don’t paint your kitchen in dark colours if it lacks light.
Q: What’s the difference between a standard kitchen, and the bespoke option?
A: With bespoke kitchens the options are almost endless - if you can imagine it, we can probably make it to suit your needs.
