Blush

Customers can find everything under one roof at Blush. Not only does owner Nicola Field-Murphy offer ladies nearly-new and vintage clothing at low prices, she also provides a manicure service.

Designers such as LK Bennett, Gucci and Mulberry can be found alongside vintage fashion designers such as Arabella Pollen. Clothing is stocked by the season so customers can expect to find coats, boots and evening wear this autumn. Vintage fur is heavily stocked in the winter months ranging from decades 1950 to 1980.

Due to popular demand, Blush has also just begun to stock men’s vintage in the form of shirts, jackets and accessories. There is without doubt something for everyone at this boutique.

Designer Exchange

Owned by June Bunting, Designer Exchange has been in business for 19 years. With exceptional customer service and an eye for top-end fashion, customers will enjoy browsing and are bound to find something they like.

Designer Exchange stocks a whole host of items from both high street labels and top-end designers. Labels such as Jaeger, LK Bennett and even Caroline Charles are sold at prices to fit most budgets.

Decorated in dusky pink with chandeliers, the décor is ornate and suitably vintage. A large bow window lights the space and adds to the aesthetic. Customers should look out for the Marilyn Monroe pictures hung about the walls.

Fusspott’s

After 35 years of business, Fusspott’s owner, Barbara Wright, has achieved a reputation for providing stunning, high quality designer goods at low prices.

Fusspott’s is a well established boutique that stocks nearly-new designer clothing. All clothing is in impeccable condition and sourced from London-based clients. Only the most exclusive designer labels are stocked, such as Chanel, Christian Louboutin and Gucci. New collections from Hebbeding and Boheme are also available.

Two wonderful bay windows, complete with old-fashioned awnings, make for a very appealing exterior. Fusspott’s provide customers with a truly luxurious shopping experience through a warm welcome and attentive staff.

Gracie’s

Gracie’s Dress Agency exudes urban chic with black fixings, metal rails and hard wood flooring, and over the last three years, Jeanine Boobyer has gained a large clientele in Reigate.

Buyers can pick up clothes by designers Tibi, Kooples and Noa Noa to name just a few - not to mention, a great selection of shoes including those by Ash and Hudson.

As most items are sourced from end of line sales, it would be difficult to find anything over two years old. However, Gracie’s certainly boasts a diverse range of stock at fantastic quality and reasonable prices. It is a real challenge not to be tempted by several items in their well-chosen range.

New2U

Situated in the desirable Ewell village, New2U is the destination for pre-owned designer couture clothing. The shop features wonderfully long windows that create a light, airy and spacious environment for customers to browse. All items are placed in colour sections throughout the store to allow for fuss-free shopping.

New2U stocks a wide selection of designer labels such as Versace, Gucci and Chanel. There is currently a large range of Karen Millen items including evening gowns, shirts and jumpers.

Owner Jennie Jackson established her business offering designer women’s clothing five years ago. In September, she will be launching a range of designer children’s wear at the same competitive prices.

New2Vous

Open to all decades, New2Vous sells both current and vintage designers to a growing clientele. Owner David Howson, aware of the resurgence of vintage fashion, began his business in November of last year.

Located in Smithbrook Kilns, New2Vous has a mostly brick interior. There are beamed ceilings with oak shelving and cast iron brackets. A bright red feature wall and antique, cream, shabby chic furniture allows for a true vintage feel.

At present, evening wear designed by the niche brand London Town is on sale. This designer, originating from Mayfair in the 1960s, is famous for its use of heavy satins and velvets.

Customers are likely to find something truly exquisite here for reasonable prices (smaller items start at £20).

Phoenix

Phoenix established their business in an 18th century cottage in 1978. Since then, it has provided the Cobham area with discounted designer clothing.

Owner Cathy Cott took over six years ago and since then has changed the focus to only the highest of designers. Labels such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Temperley are sourced from their large London-based clientele. All clothing is in immaculate condition with affordable price tags.

Befitting of the fine clothing available, neutral shades such as white and grey are used in the interior to create contemporary chic surroundings. Welcoming and friendly staff make a trip to Phoenix an absolute treat.

Shrewd

Shrewd is an example of one of Surrey’s finest vintage shops. Built in 1760, complete with wooden beams, the setting accentuates the charm of vintage fashion.

Sonja Sefke has been the owner for eight years and carefully hand-picks all of her wares. There is an eclectic mixture of clothes and accessories ranging from the 1920s to 1970s. One particular item, a beaded evening bag, dates back to the early 1900s. Shrewd also provides customers with true vintage labels such as Horrockese.

Voted number 55 in British Vogue’s Top 100 best shops outside of London, Shrewd is a must for any vintage fashion fanatic.

Style Connect

Style Connect offers nearly-new designer labels at low cost. Ted Baker, Versace, Armani and Stella McCartney are among the labels that can be found. Vintage designers are also available including Blanes and Frank Usher.

Specialising in dresses, there are a number of different options for any occasion. In addition, there is a seamstress that works on Wednesdays and Thursdays altering clothes so that perfect item has a perfect fit.

The interior of the shop is reminiscent of Notting Hill with the use of copper and cream. One can be sure of finding a treasure in this trove.

That Vintage Shop

Established three years ago by owner Katie Rose, That Vintage Shop boasts exceptional vintage style inside and out. The exterior dons a striking red and the interior features wonderfully vintage wallpaper in a similar shade.

In this welcoming and cosy environment, customers can explore unique styles ranging from the 1930s to the 1970s. Popular wares include the 1940s and ‘50s dresses that start from an affordable price of £60.
