Cheers and applause drew coaches and parents away from watching their own teams at the Ibstock Place Invitational Six-A-Side Tournament in London to watch a spectacular performance by the U16 Chilton Cantelo School Football Team, who went on to snatch victory from the host team winning the final 3-0.
The passing and movement of the team was to the highest standard and their quick pass and move combinations at one point had the whole tournament at a standstill.
The squad’s next big game will be away to Grittleton House School in the U16 Independent Small Schools Competition. The team reached the final in 2010 and hopes to bring the trophy back to Somerset in 2011.
