Beaudesert Park School in Minchinhampton enjoys an enviable reputation for providing children with a fantastic education in a glorious setting in the heart of the Cotswolds. Catering for girls and boys aged 4 - 13, the school has long been a popular choice both for local families and those moving to the Cotswolds area from further afield, and this year sees the highest number of children joining the Pre-prep Department for six years.

The happy family atmosphere, which upholds traditional standards, is much in evidence, whilst the school’s purposeful, nurturing and supportive environment ensures children leave having gained not only an outstanding, all encompassing education but also confidence, friendships and memories to last a lifetime.

Scholarship and Awards success

Testament to the school’s commitment to providing a superb all round education, no less than 18 of its leavers in Summer 2011 won scholarships to 11 sought-after senior schools. The scholarships included seven academic scholarships to, amongst others, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Rugby School and Marlborough College. In keeping with the school’s all round approach to education, leavers have also won no less than two drama, three musical, one design and technology and two sports scholarships between them.

Headmaster James Womersley enthused; “We are always delighted by and admiring of the children’s achievements here, but it is fantastic to see them being recognised by others as well. It’s also very satisfying to see the children heading off to such a range of senior schools. We take pride in being truly independent of any senior school, instead giving children and parents informed but unbiased support to help them choose the best option.”
