Many joined us on a beautiful Spring afternoon to celebrate a milestone for pre-school provision in Copplestone and the surrounding areas. Through great effort over a period of four years, on the part of the Busy Bees Committee, the Copplestone School Governors and its Headteacher, and with immense support from Devon County Council, we are now enjoying providing our sessional care in a purpose built eco-pod.

Our guests enjoyed the sunshine in the outside areas alongside children happily making the most of their new environment. Inside this innovative building, a display illustrated the transformation this building has made to our setting. This showed progress through the new build and the subsequent demolition of our previous, dilapidated building which was then replaced by the School’s reinstated Millenium garden. We also chose to launch our new website as part of our celebrations.

Mrs Christine Marsh, very kindly attended to officially open the building by cutting a yellow ribbon held by our Busy Bees children who happily sang their favourites: Incy Wincy Spider, Wind the Bobbin and Hickory Dickory Dock.

Copplestone Busy Bees is not only for the community but also ideally situated for those parents wanting to drop their children off, going to and from the Exeter or Barnstaple direction.

New parents wishing to book a place for their child or for a viewing of the superb new facilities are more than welcome to call us on 01363 84397
