Education news from around the county
Cadets from Brentwood School’s RAF Section played a pivotal role in celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of the RAF Air Training Corps. Under the watchful eye of the organisation’s Honorary Air Commandant, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, the RAF cadets took part in the Guard of Honour in central London and a special reception at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Hundreds of well-wishers lined The Strand to greet the Duchess who was marking her first engagement as patron of the RAF Air Cadets since her appointment last year. As well as learning more about the organisation’s work and activities, she met a selection of cadets, veterans and adult volunteers.
