Liverpool Hope University hosted a Chancellor’s Dinner during a week of graduation celebrations.
The summer black-tie event opened with a drinks reception, followed by dinner in The Great Hall at Liverpool Hope’s Creative Campus. Esteemed guests included Dame Lorna Muirhead, the first female Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, and Professor John Schembri, head of the department of geography at the University of Malta, who both received honorary doctorates at the graduation ceremonies this year at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. The evening was enjoyed by all and Voices of Hope, the university’s student vocal ensemble, entertained the crowd alongside speeches by Chancellor of the University Lord Guthrie, Vice Chancellor Professor Gerald Pillay and Dame Lorna Muirhead.
