Lancing Prep Worthing has celebrated the opening of its brand new drama studio. A light and airy space, the studio is a cedar-clad building with bi-fold double glazed aluminium glass doors that will enable its use as a performance area for an outdoor audience in the summer months.

Lancing Prep welcomed back Charlie Granville and Sam Pucelli - who both attended the old Broadwater Manor School some 20 years ago - to cut the ribbon and declare the space open.

Sam and Charlie are now part of ‘The Noise Next Door’, an acclaimed comedy ensemble that has been performing at the Edinburgh Fringe for 10 years, appeared on TV, at the London Palladium and worked with top comedian Michael McIntyre.

They recalled with much laughter their time at the school, where their love of comedy and performing was first nurtured and they formed lifelong friendships that have enabled them to go on to carve out careers together in the entertainment business.

The Prep school children were treated to some fine musical performances by three very talented singers from Lancing College, sisters Kitty and Gigi C and Ella H who is also a Lancing Prep Worthing alumna.
