She was accompanied on the tour by headmaster Dr Jon Cox, along with the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Sarah Goad.

Joining students and staff to help celebrate the Royal Grammar School’s 500th anniversary, the Princess Royal spent over an hour looking round the school in Guildford, Surrey. She was accompanied on the tour by headmaster Dr Jon Cox, along with the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Sarah Goad.

Brambletye School in East Grinstead, West Sussex, welcomed back past parent Richard Noble to talk to today’s pupils and parents about his latest world land speed record project, the Bloodhound SSC (a supersonic car). In the evening, Richard opened the school’s newly redeveloped science area.
