Prior Park students raised an impressive 2,500 for charity in one night after putting on their Fielding House Concert to a packed audience.

There were some very entertaining performances, with highlights including a rendition of ‘Forget You’ by Cee Lo Green, whilst the Upper Sixth performed as the Backstreet Boys. Meg Osborne, Emma Clague and Tabitha Hutchison sang a lovely rendition of ‘These Streets’ by Paolo Nutini and Sophie Wainwright sang a stunning version of ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz.

Lucy Howlett's rendition of 'Adelaide's lament' was another highlight, sending the audience into hysterics. Marie-Louise Kertzman, Saskia Cochrane and Molly Fleet also performed some beautiful dance routines and Mia Blain and Amelia Dabell presented two very emotive monologues.

An auction ended the evening, with lots including a fly fishing trip, work experience at a legal firm in Bristol, a horse riding hack at Lucknam Park and a pampering set including a manicure and pedicure.

Prior Park Headmaster, Mr James Murphy-O’Connor, comments:

“The Fielding House Concert was an unbelievable success and raised an impressive sum of money for two extremely worthy causes - Robin Hood Ministries and Dorothy House. The Fielding House students showcased their talents to a truly captivated audience and, all in all, everyone in attendance had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.”
