An exciting season finale awaits the Chilton Cantelo School Under 16 Football Team, who, for the second year in a row, have progressed to the final of the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) Cup. Amazingly, they will be playing the same opponents as last year’s final – Liverpool College.

The lads are busy training for the final at Hinckley United on 26 April and will be looking to cap their successful season by putting the ghost of last year’s 2-0 defeat to rest.

This final will round off a remarkable year, with the team not only having reached the final of the Yeovil District Schools Cup (to be played on 30 April) and the latter stages of the Somerset County Cup, but also individually for Aiden-Lee Beardmore who has been selected to captain the ISFA National U14 team; and Owen Price, Marcus Punton and Michael Woodward, who have also been selected for the Development Squad.
