Stonyhurst College held their annual Poetry Banquet, raising over £17,000 for the Stonyhurst Children’s Holiday Week Trust, which provides a holiday for children from local special schools each year.
All students in year 12 (known as Poetry) were involved in planning and hosting the fabulous evening enjoyed by over 250 guests. Entertainment was provided by Stonyhurst’s jazz band, The Dead Poets.
Headmaster, Andrew Johnson, said: ‘I’m always very proud of our pupils on these occasions and they did particularly well this year.’
