The Somerset school will be hosting an open day online to give prospective students a taste of what they can expect at Wellington
We are living in strange times and schools are empty. However, Wellington School is looking forward to the time when it can welcome visitors back and showcase what makes the School such a special place.
A couple of days before the event, visitors will receive via email the link to explore the specially-constructed Open Day site, with talks from key staff, a virtual tour of the School and the opportunity to “meet” some pupils as well.
There won’t be as much delicious home-made cake on offer as usual, but this should offer a glimpse into the delightful and friendly Wellington community.
With superb academic results, excellent performing arts and superb sports facilities and a vibrant and active outdoor education programme, Wellington School is an outstanding and happy place to be.
If it is academic results you are concerned about for your child, Wellington School has just what you need. With superb GCSE and A Level results across all subjects and a number of its pupils went to Oxford or Cambridge this year with and many more heading to the prestigious “Russell Group” Universities. Pupils study the more rigorous IGCE in Maths, Languages and Sciences as well as Latin and Greek and the emphasis is strongly academic.
