Zoe Pennick, aged 26, from Chester, is a stylist for the Curvy Women Campaign and recently styled the British Plus Size Fashion Weekend catwalk event. She tells us her fashion loves and loathes

What do you wear to work?

Comfort is a must. I always have flats and heels in my bag. My look is classic so I try to incorporate current trends to add a twist but never forgetting my own style and comfort. I hate being uncomfortable when I’m at work.

What do you like to wear for a big night out?

This is hard because I never go out! On the rare occasion I do I like to be unique and wear something that I know no one else will be in. I’m not a fan of wearing anything above my knee as it gets even shorter when I sit down.

Tell us about your biggest fashion mistake

My teenage years were full of too much frontal exposure (all padded) and far too many denim skirts and high boots!

Who is your favourite designer?

I have fallen in love with Burberry again. They have regained their reputation as a strong British brand while losing the tags created when it got slightly ruined with too much accessibility.

Who’s been the biggest influence on your personal style?

Victoria Beckham. I grew up adoring the Spice Girls and from very young I have been influenced by her fashion, way before she was a designer. It works better now she is one of the most influential style icons in the world!

What is your favourite high street shop?

Without a doubt Zara, just classic cuts and trends. I wish Chester had more independent boutiques; I’m especially fond of The Editeur on Bridge Street,

Most recent purchase you’re thrilled with

My Burberry heart print silk shirt. I wear it all the time and get many compliments on it.

What perfume/aftershave do you wear?

Abercrombie & Fitch! It reminds me of New York.

What hair and beauty products are in your bathroom?

I’m terrible at doing my own hair so I get it blow dried twice a week! Beauty product would have to be Vita Liberata tan.

Which beauty product would you be lost without?

Probably just my moisturiser. It makes so much difference to my skin. I use the Simple range.

Are you a gym body?

Definitely not. I’m just riding on the waves of good genes but I’ve been informed that when I hit 30 my luck will run out!

Who do you regard as the most stylish woman of the last 100 years?

I look back at Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis and love their class. Then you have Ali MacGraw who was effortless with a bohemian style. Recently, I’d say Victoria Beckham, and then you have Michelle Obama who creates a buzz in everything she wears.
