King’s School Sixth Form students turned on the style for a night of glamour with their annual fashion show in aid of The Christie Hospital.
The young models donned both the latest threads and some athletic costumes to wow a packed Main Hall at Cumberland Street in Macclesfield.
The King’s fashion show attracted a sell-out audience and raised £3,535 for The Christie in Manchester with the models parading down the cat walk.
Organiser Sacha Allen said: ‘We have been working on the show for three months and that hard work paid dividends with the kind of night that I think we will remember for the rest of our lives. Many of us have been touched by the effects of cancer and deeply appreciate having such a world class centre of excellence in the region.’
King’s would like to thank leading local retailers Boo-Chic, Emma Beaumont, Pure Fab Boutique, SOS, Runway, John Douglas, Burton and Dorothy Perkins for donating clothing for the event.
