Mother's Day treats at Ribby Hall this month
Give mum a treat at one of Lancashire's newest spas which is celebrating two top accolades
It’s less than a year old but that hasn’t stopped the spa at Ribby Hall from making a name for itself. The new kid on the block on the spa circuit has just been awarded a five bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide and has been voted number two in the Independent newspaper’s feature on ‘The 50 Best Spas’ in the UK.
Part of the revamped Spa Hotel at the holiday village near Wrea Green, the Spa Hotel and its facilities are an adults-only haven of tranquillity looking over some stunning Lancashire countryside, making it the perfect place to take mum to relax this month.
There’s a number of packages available throughout March, including the imaginative Side by Side Mother and Daughter treatment, available for daughters aged 14 and over – an exception to the ‘adults-only’ rule for one month only.
Treat yourselves to an overnight stay in the beautiful new rooms at the Spa Hotel and dinner in the Brasserie before or after your pampering in the spa itself. A Sunday night stay with two course dinner, full English breakfast and Aqua Thermal Journey costs 99 this month.
The Aqua Thermal Journey is an important part of the spa experience at Ribby Hall. It is available to all hotel guests but open to day guests too.
Spa facilities include an indoor hydrotheraphy pool and hot tub on the outdoor terrace while the Aqua Thermal Journey takes the guest on a journey through seven different heat experiences from aroma room, aroma steam room, saunarium, Balinese salt inhalation room, herbal sauna, outdoor rustic sauna and Roman pededarium, each of which is followed by a chilling dip under an icy shower, a plunge bucket shower or rubbing ice onto your skin – great for the circulation.
