TWO new Jeeps have gone on sale at Lookers Hatfield but the legendary 4x4 manufacturer is not sitting on its laurels. An all-new Jeep Wrangler has returned to showrooms as a two-door, or - for the first time - a four-door variant and, while its off-road abilities are widely known, the new Wrangler's on-road credentials are enhanced by better road manners and reduced noise levels. Meanwhile, the new Jeep Compass is a compact Sports Utility Vehicle designed to appeal to customers who may not have considered this type of vehicle before. Mark Jenner, franchise manager at Lookers, commented, 'The Jeep Compass operates in front-wheel drive for 90 per cent of the time and automatically switches to 4x4 when more traction is required.'
