More than 32,000 people descended on Dunsfold Park for Wings & Wheels’ first year as a two day event.
The air and motoring show, held on Sunday August 29 and Monday August 30, saw the triumphant return of the Harrier to the aerodrome near Cranleigh, 50 years since the first vertical take-off took place there.
Among other aerial highlights, the RAF entertained with a fantastic array of displays led by the Red Arrows.
Meanwhile, the wheels side of proceedings was masterminded by Brooklands Museum and demonstrated the power and speed of a number of iconic cars, including the famous Napier-Railton, up and down the runway.
Wings and Wheels is Dunsfold Park’s biggest annual fundraiser and Help for Heroes was one of the main beneficiaries of this year’s event, along with Brooklands Museum, Cranleigh Village Hospital Trust and the Surrey Air Ambulance.
