Gleaning inspiration from her family’s own successful businesses, Abi herself has chosen an innovative direction that has targeted a real gap in the market for affordable luxury with a personal touch. The Abi Fisher Exclusive Collection of clothing has seen rapid growth in its customer base since its launch in early 2011 and offers ladies, through private appointment, access to clothing and style advice that cannot easily be found on the high street.

Housed in a beautifully converted barn on the outskirts of Tarporley, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, the Abi Fisher Showroom provides a breath-taking environment to browse this stunning clothing collection. The sumptuous clothing emporium is filled with Abi’s hand-picked European delights, featuring luxurious ‘under-the-radar’ brands that offer a sophisticated and unique look, at a price that is within reach of her diverse range of clients.

Abi says: “Unsurpassed customer service is at the heart of everything that we do here. Our clients return to us time and time again because they know that they will receive a discreet service that gives them access to some of the finest European clothing brands. Seeking out ‘hidden gems’ they can’t ordinarily find on the high street, we also take care to only procure a limited number of pieces per style, allowing for an exclusive element that our clients really appreciate.

“To create the perfect wardrobe for our clients, we bring together classic, statement pieces that are incredibly well cut and affordably luxurious. In order to do this, we look at sourcing items from specific locations throughout Europe. For example, the Italians are renowned for their beautifully designed and well-cut garments, whilst the French do classic style like no other. “

Abi plays a very hands-on role within the business, sourcing and buying all of the collections herself – travelling to London, Milan and Paris - as well as dealing with client appointments and providing them with a complete look for their wardrobe.

“My day always starts at the crack of dawn with a long walk for my gorgeous black lab, Rula, and a very healthy cup of Oolong Green Tea. Once in the office, I cover the day-to-day management of client appointments, orders and deliveries with my assistant. I also always like to ensure I am up to date with the latest trade magazines. Drapers and WWB (Women’s Wear Buyer) are a must-read for me, as well as leading style publications such as Sunday Time Style, Vogue, FT – How to Spend It and Porter magazine.”

Abi’s real love lies in her daily client visits: “I really look forward to every client appointment, whether they are enjoying their first visit to the show room or have been coming for years. With the latter, I tend to know what the client is drawn to and as such, can select perfect items in advance, as well as the challenge of getting them to try something new. It is my job to provide items that clients will love and also to ease them out of their comfort zone and into a style that is out of the ordinary to them, but looks sensational.”
