Local fashionista and creator of online fashion magazine http://www.ladympresents.co.uk/ Rachel Montague-Ebbs is working with The Association of Pantiles Traders to put together the first Pantiles Fashion Festival this August. Aiming to bring a little Spitalfields’ fashion spirit to Tunbridge Wells’ historic centre, the event takes place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th.

The Fashion Festival will feature dedicated stalls selling clothing, handbags, accessories and more. A series of alfresco fashion shows are scheduled throughout the weekend, alongside style and beauty masterclasses.

Up and coming designers should email ladym@ladympresents.co.uk, while anyone interested in booking a stall should email markets@pantilestraders for more information.

"It's exciting to bring fashion to The Pantiles,” says Rachel, “there are some great designers and brands out there that we can't wait to share with the fashion-conscious of Tunbridge Wells".

“Tunbridge Wells' south, with the Pantiles, Chapel Place and the High Street is a destination shopping area with a regional pull,” says Richard Simm, chair of The Association of Pantiles Traders. “With an eclectic and increasing array of independent boutiques and a fashion-savvy population, a Fashion Festival seems a perfect fit.”

The Fashion Festival will be the third festival to take place this summer, organised by The Association of Pantiles Traders. It follows the successful Food Festival in May and Vintgae Fair in July.
