A timeless little black dress is a great sales purchase. Size also matters when shopping the sales; avoid the temptation to compromise on size and fit and stick to items you feel comfortable in, that way you’re more likely to wear them often, and they’ll make for a savvy investment.”
Check what you already have - Before you leave the house and hit the sales, inspect your wardrobe and make sure you know what you have and what you are missing.
Be strategic - Make a list of what you hope to find in the sales and try not to get sidetracked. Remember that just because you’re making a big saving, doesn’t mean it is always right for you.
Wear flat shoes and comfortable clothes - It is likely that you will be on your feet, in and out of fitting rooms all day so it’s important to be dressed appropriately.
Keep it classic - Aim to build a staple wardrobe. The sales are a great time to pick up timeless classics such as a tailored jacket from Karen Millen.
