This July will see McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet join forces with women’s charity Dress For Success London to launch the UK’s first-ever official Workwear Week

Running from July 2-8, McArthurGlen’s Swindon and Dress For Success London will work together to host a pop-up panel including expert recruitment advisors from C&D Recruitment, Style Consultant, Sian Williams, and Dress For Success London volunteers. Local women can visit the panel in confidence and the exclusive pop-up services are entirely complimentary.

Dress For Success London, a not-for-profit organisation founded in New York in 1997, provide professional attire and career consultations to help women thrive in work and in life. McArthurGlen’s Workwear Week will see Dress For Success London tour its UK centres, including Swindon, in a bid to help women with any work related matters they wish to address. Whether returning to the work place from motherhood, preparing for an important interview or looking to re-appraise everyday office style, the panel will be on hand to offer ‘dress to impress’ fashion advice and bespoke career guidance across all McArthurGlen UK outlets.

Shan Williams, Style Consultant at McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet says, “Women spend on average 34 hours per week* in the workplace so it is essential that they look and feel great. Appearance can have a major impact on self-esteem and with so many great brands in our centre offering amazing workwear staples; we wanted to dedicate a whole week to helping women win in the work place.”

On top of the usual 60 per cent less found across the centre on great brands such as Jaeger, Phase Eight, Hobbs, Ted Baker, and Osprey London, Workwear Week will see shoppers treated to flash sales and exclusive discounts.

Deleyth Evans, Chief Executive of Dress For Success London, says, “We are thrilled to be working with McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet to help spread the Dress For Success message throughout the South West. We dress more than 1,000 women a year in high quality clothes donated by retailers and professional women. Following a consultation with Dress For Success, one in two women go on to succeed at their interview and are keen to spread awareness of our work by taking Dress For Success on tour with McArthurGlen – to help inspire other women across the UK.”

Workwear Week will take place in McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet from July 2-8.
