Students welcome pupils and teachers from across Europe for a day of fun at Lytham Hall
PHOTOGRAPHY BY KIRSTY THOMPSON
Pupils and teachers from across Europe were welcomed to the Fylde by staff and students at LSA Technology and Performing Arts College, Ansdell. The group took part in a week-long programme of events as part of atwo year European Comenius Partnership Project, an international education project designed to give students and staff in different countries the opportunity to work with one another.
A highlight of the trip was a visit to Lytham Hall where they enjoyed a tour as well as a performance from the school’s strings ensemble. The group was also treated to a clog dancing demonstration from expert Alex Fisher before having a go for themselves. The visit was organised by the school link coordinator Sandra Underwood, also a modern foreign languages teacher at LSA Technology and Performing Arts College.
All of the European visitors also left with the best memory of our beautiful county – a copy of Lancashire Life.
