Monart Spa in Poundbury recently opened its doors to the public, and it was a right royal affair

HRH The Prince of Wales officially opened Monart Spa - Poundbury to the public in a ceremony where the spa was described by Ben Murphy, Estate Director of The Duchy of Cornwall, as 'the jewel in the crown' of Queen Mother Square. Set in Royal Pavilion, the multi-million-pound luxury day spa is the first UK venture for Monart Destination Spa, Ireland, one of the top spas in the world.

Open to all with no membership required, it offers curated half/full day and evening spa experiences, and access to one of the finest thermal suites in the UK which includes sanarium, caldarium, sauna, salt grotto, infrared pro cabin and aroma steam room.

Light spa food and drinks, using produce from local Dorset producers, Brace of Butchers and plant-based sweet treats from Feed the Soul, are served in the spa lounge, along with award-winning sparkling wines from Dorchester's Langham wine estate.
