Our Real Housewife of Cheshire, Hanna Kinsella, looks back on an exciting 2020 and forward to greater joy in 2021
Martin and I had a lovely relaxing Christmas and New Year, and we hope you did too. We managed to catch up with close family and friends, mostly at home, and we’re now refreshed and ready for an exciting 2021.
I hope you enjoyed watching the last episodes of Housewives – it was a great season and things have been exciting, glam and of a course a bit dramatic.
We were thrown a stunning gender reveal party by the Housewives team at Combermere Abbey in Cheshire, including all the girls and our close family members, so they could be part of our special moment. We all went outside and stood by the beautiful lake, and we counted down to the fireworks. It was just like an exciting New Year’s Eve moment and when they exploded with blue we knew it was a boy and it was absolutely fantastic! I was jumping up and down like crazy saying ‘I knew it, I knew it’, and Martin gave me the biggest kiss; it was a very special moment for us.
I’ve been inundated with so many nice messages from the public since announcing ‘it’s a boy’ and I loved sharing that moment with so many people. We’ve still not chosen a name but we have a few that we are veering towards so watch this space and we can’t wait to be able to introduce you our baby when he is born.
Have you read Hanna’s last diary column?
Another very exciting thing that happened on Housewives recently was the official launch of my Icy Bear whitening toothpaste at The Colony in Wilmslow, and I know I’ve gone on about it a few times, but its my work-baby! It’s been a dream-come true and a much-loved project that I have worked so hard on and nurtured ahead of our real baby’s arrival in February.
I was so happy that Lauren, Seema, Nicole, Rachel, Lystra and of course Martin could join me for a socially-distanced, dazzling diamond and ice themed party including ice sculptures, ice cocktails, a giant polar bear cake, ice performers and more. I cannot believe that after all the curve-balls that have been thrown at us over the last few months, that the launch of Icy Bear was truly perfect. Having my own product is a dream come true – it really is special as it brightens teeth as well as protecting against cavities thanks to a unique ingredient combination – including diamond dust. Having the support of the RHOC girls means the world to me; they totally get my vision. Everyone was impressed with the launch; they loved the product and the giant polar bear cake went down very well. We had a lot of fun, and of course there was a little drama and mischief...
