To me, home is...

Nomansheath. This will always be the special place I grew up; a special place with so many memories.

Where do you head for a health kick?

I was on tour with my Strictly partner AJ Pritchard so that was keeping me fit before lockdown. I love going to Body and Beauty in Whitchurch, too.

And to indulge?

The Old Fire Station in Malpas. If friends come and visit me, I always take them there; it is the perfect place to catch up.

Where do you do some credit card damage?

I have to confess I’m a bit of an online shopper – and really love brands such as ASOS and Boohoo. But I am a bit of a homebody and like spending money in the little shops near my home, too.

If you could move into any building in Cheshire, it would be...

Not a building, but a place I would love to live is Alderley Edge. I love the vibe there; it’s a pretty place and the houses are gorgeous – it would be a wonderful place to live.

Where do you go to relax?

It really is all about home for me. I love it. It is the place where I can come and completely relax; a place where I can explore beautiful countryside but also be near to Malpas if I need anything from there.

Finest view in Cheshire?

This needs no thought – Bickerton Hill. My grandad, Bob Bob, lives in Bulkeley, and walks with him at Bickerton Hill were such a big part of my childhood. He would take my brother Matty and I up there all of the time with his border collie, Meggie. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic. It’s a view and a precious memory that always makes me smile.

What I miss most about Cheshire when I’m away

The quiet beauty. When I finished on Strictly, I wanted somewhere I could go and be calm for a while. The Strictly experience is fantastic, but it can be frantic, being constantly on the go, and busy being in the city. I needed some time out after it. The only place I knew would give me that is home – the gorgeous countryside, the open space, that feeling of blissful calm. There was no question that was the best place for me.

I’m never happier than when I’m...

I’m at home in the Cheshire countryside, when I am looking out over the gorgeous green spaces I’m so lucky to have near my home.

My Cheshire life, in three words

Blissful, calm, adventurous.
