The Bishop of Chester, the Rt. Revd. Peter Forster and his wife, Elisabeth, were among the distinguished guests at a dinner in honour of the anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation. This summer it will be 60 years since Coronation Day.

The Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs, hosted the event at Chester Town Hall. Other notable guests included Lord and Lady Ashbrook, Lord and Lady Grey of Codnor, Joelle Warren, the Vice-Lord Lieutenant, Cheshire High Sheriff Martin Beaumont, The Lord Mayor of Chester, Councillor Pamela Booher, and the Mayor of Cheshire East, Councillor George Walton were also in attendance.

A fanfare was played by the Lancashire (Volunteer) Artillery Band.
