The ladies of the Hens ‘n’ Guns are hosting a charity clay shoot to celebrate the launch of their 2016 Hens ‘n’ Guns calendar.
The ladies of the Bere Regis-based group were inspired by the film Calendar Girls to pose for their own slightly risqué calendar and raise money for Poole Hospital’s Bowel and Colon Cancer Research Fund.
The event on Sunday 23 August at Bloxworth includes a £75 top prize with trophies for Top Gun, Open, Ladies and Novice Classes. There is also a Have-a-Go stand, raffle and cake stall, with food on the day provided by White Star Catering.
Proceedings start at 10am with last entry at 2pm. You’ll find Bloxworth on the A35 (BH20 7EU); look out for the red balloons and signs.
