With less than a week to go before Plymouth’s first Business Week, Plymouth & Devon Chamber of Commerce has unveiled plans for the official launch event, due to be held at the National Marine Aquarium on Monday 15th June.
Plymouth & Devon Chamber of Commerce announced earlier this year the plans to host Plymouth’s first Business Week in association with Chamber member, Tin Digital. The week, designed to celebrate Chamber member businesses in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, will take place from 13th – 20th June, and will feature a range of events designed to celebrate Chamber member businesses.
Suzi Cumberland, Events Manager for Plymouth & Devon Chamber of Commerce said: “When the Chamber was approached by Mike from Tin Digital to create Plymouth Business Week we jumped at the opportunity to celebrate the many successful member businesses in the city. Since announcing the concept we’ve had many member businesses and organisations step forward to host events, which has created a fantastic line up for the week. “
“The launch event will offer the opportunity to find out more about each of the events taking place during the week, speak to the organisers and network with business contacts from across the city and region. I’m looking forward to seeing many people at the National Marine Aquarium on the morning of the 15th June to celebrate the launch of the first Plymouth Business Week.”
The free to attend launch event will offer attendees the opportunity to hear from organisers of events taking place throughout the week to find out more about what’s happening and network with new and existing contacts.
Mike Turner, Owner of Tin Digital said: “We’re fortunate to be living in one of the most exciting periods in Plymouth’s history. The expansion of local business is helping move the city forward to be a real driving force in the South West economy and I’m delighted to be partnering with the Plymouth and Devon Chamber of Commerce to help promote business in Plymouth.
“Whether large or small, start up or long established, Plymouth Business Week is intended to celebrate and showcase the very best businesses that Plymouth has to offer.
