Everys Solicitors has broadened its sponsorship of Exmouth charities and causes with the backing of the town’s award-winning youth theatre company, Centre Stage.
Established in 1971 Centre Stage has a membership of 60 young people aged between 11 and 21 who perform in every production the company produces. Centre Stage is currently preparing for the musical Whistle Down the Wind. Everys Solicitors, which has an office in Church Street, already sponsors Exmouth RFC and the Ladies’ Starlight Walk. Bruce Brooker, Everys’ commercial director, said: “We always aim to support local causes and groups where possible and a theatre group is a new area of sponsorship for us. Centre Stage is a well respected and rightly revered youth theatre company that gives a lot of pleasure to the people of Exmouth. We wish the cast all the best for their upcoming production.” Mark Worsley, executive chairman of Centre Stage, said: “We welcome Everys Solicitors’ support. Putting on large productions like Whistle Down the Wind is very costly and without sponsors and friends like Everys, it would be more difficult to get them to the stage. So, thank you.” Whistle Down the Wind runs from April 8th at the Exmouth Pavilion.
