Partridge Green resident Mary Hember has made her first foray into publishing at the age of 86.
Mary’s daughter Julia Hember was a talented photographer who tragically passed away in 2003.
The book, a memoir of her work which also includes some of her writing, came out on 1 June. All funds raised will be donated to the Centre of Haemato-Oncology at Bart’s Cancer Institute in Julia’s memory.
The book is titled They Sing To Me With Echoes of Time, and it includes images of Sussex seascapes such as the one shown here. It is published by Generation Press in Poynings, at £25, and is available from YPDbooks.com
