In 2016, Cheshire Life and Lancashire Life magazines will be continuing the search for the region’s amazing women with our sponsorship of the 24th annual Inspiring Women Awards.

There are five categories open for public nominations: Business Award sponsored by Deloitte; Entrepreneur Award; Inspiring Young Woman Award; Community Award and new for 2016 the Public Sector Front Line Award sponsored by Manchester Metropolitan University.

Finalists will be invited to the Inspiring Women Awards Lunch at the Midland Hotel on Friday May 13th, hosted by BBC broadcaster Phil Trow who will be teasing out their stories before the winners are announced. Excited to be hosting, Phil remarked: ‘My boss is a woman, my co-presenter on BBC Radio Manchester breakfast is a woman and our producer is a woman, so I should fit in really well (and know my place!)’. Winners will only be announced at the lunch.

Many of the previous finalists and winners have come from nominations sent in by our readers and we are excited to be able to bring you this opportunity to recognise talented, caring and entrepreneurial women and publically acknowledge their efforts and successes.

So who will be your 2016 Inspiring Women?
