Warwickshire Charity Ball for Crisis raises over £23,000
The twice-postponed Tangent President’s Charity ball to raise funds for Crisis took place at Stratford Manor Hotel, Warwickshire. Attended by 200 guests, the evening started with a Rat Pack singer and a generous Champagne reception. A representative from Crisis – Matt Green Director of Skylight Birmingham – spoke about the work of Crisis to kick off fundraising activities, and the delicious dinner was interrupted by a surprise singing waiter. The band filled the floor from the first moment to the last, and over £23,000 was raised for the charity.
Tracey Pickin, president of the National Association of Tangent Clubs, has nominated Crisis as her charity for 2021/22. For further information, call Tracey on 07880 656675 or email president@tangent-clubs.org
