To me, home is…

Chaotic, crazy and lovely. My husband Dan Potts [a football agent] and I are really looking forward to Christmas this year as it's the first where our kids Esme 4 and Leo, 2, will both understand what's going on. Esme already talks about the 'naughty elf' who hides around the house every December!

Where do you head for a health kick?

The Mere Resort & Spa in Knutsford, where I'm a member. I probably go there about five times a week. I'm there for 6.30am before the kids have even woken up. I like spinning, HIIT and boxercise. I've also started doing Barrecore [a toning workout based on ballet moves] in Alderley. I expect to become a Victoria's Secrets model any day now.

And to indulge?

I really like a good cosy Cheshire pub for some proper comfort food. The Dog in Over Peover and The Bull's Head in Mobberley are two favourites. I'm pescatarian so I'll always go for fish and chips.

Where do you do some credit card damage?

I love The Edit in Knutsford for designer-inspired pieces at reasonable prices. Last time I was in, there was a dress just like a Tom Ford one I'd been admiring but definitely could never afford. I picked one up in The Edit for £50 instead!

Most romantic moment in Cheshire…

Piccolino in Alderley Edge will always be special because it's where Dan and I went on our first date nine years ago - though it was Panacea back then. Well, he thought it was a date I thought it was business meeting. I turned up in a dress suit. I don't think it went quite how he was hoping it would. It turned out okay though.

If you could move into any building in Cheshire…

Peckforton Castle. Who doesn't want to be a princess?

Where do you head to relax?

Tatton Park. It's one of the reasons we moved to Knutsford; it's my happy place. I'll hire a bike and the kids will sit on the back and we'll cycle around the lake. It's idyllic.

Finest view in Cheshire?

Tegg's Nose. It's stunning up there.

The thing I miss most about Cheshire when I'm away…

How friendly the people are here. I love how everyone talks to each other. Dan is from the South where people just don't chat to strangers in the same way. He doesn't understand why I'm basically best mates with the woman in the petrol station or why I text my hairdresser so much.

I'm never happier than when I'm…

Having family time - it's really precious for us because Dan works a lot of weekends and now Esme has started school we tend to only get Sundays together. We try to have a fun day out. Recently we've been to the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre and Gulliver's World in Warrington.

My Cheshire Life in three words

Countryside, chaos, laughter.
