Couples called William and Kate planning to get married in 2011 can get the room hire for free at the South West’s premier hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury
Following the announcement that Prince William is to marry Kate Middleton, the management team at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House has decided to provide room hire for free for those who book their reception at the four-star venue and who share the royal couple’s names.
Available for any new wedding booked on dates that are still available in 2011, it means Williams and Kates looking to celebrate their vows at the boutique-style hotel will save up to 3,500 on their big day.
And to honour the royal prince, if the groom-to-be is called William, the couple will save 50% of the room hire.
Regarded by many as being the region’s number one venue for weddings and receptions, the hotel team is already getting into the spirit of what will no doubt be the biggest event the country has seen in many years and wants to share the feel good factor with guests.
Mark Hands, group general manager at DoubleTree by Hilton said: “It’s fantastic news that Prince William has announced his engagement. Because of this we’ve decided to offer couples named William and Kate who hold their wedding reception at Cadbury House this amazing offer.

“We have some of the best facilities anywhere in the region and the views from the hotel are second-to-none, making Cadbury House a truly magical venue.
“We’d be more than happy to accommodate the Prince and his new wife but I imagine the trip down the M4 from London after the wedding would be perhaps a little too far!
“We also expect it to be a record year for weddings as everyone will want to follow Prince William’s lead.”
To qualify for this offer the couple must be called William and Kate and be getting married in 2011. Proof of names will be required.
