Q: What advice would you give to those who have had to cancel their wedding plans this year?

It’s understandable, after all the effort and time that goes into planning a wedding, if you’re upset and disheartened that it must be cancelled.

But it’s important to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that your wedding can take place at the earliest opportunity.

There are plenty of venues that have availability for 2021 weddings and the staff to manage this.

Q: When do you think weddings will be able to take place again?

It’s uncertain when weddings will be allowed to go ahead. But, as Northern Ireland is now allowing outdoor weddings to take place, it may only be a matter of time before England follows suit.

Our golf course is already up and running, and we are prepared to open the rest of our venue as soon as the rules allow.

Q: Is there anything to consider when planning a wedding during coronavirus?

You should make sure that the venue has the means to cater to guests that may be worried about COVID-19, and it might be wise to check that the venue you are considering has a hotel nearby that can accommodate any guests that live far away. This may affect what day your wedding is planned for, as you will have to wait until hotels are open.

You should also understand that certain aspects of your wedding may have to be adjusted. For example, the food and beverage service may need to change to adhere to social distancing, as well as the number of people that can attend the ceremony.

We will ensure to make it as stress-free and safe as possible for any couples holding their wedding at our venue.

Q: What is the London Golf Club wedding venue like?

We are lucky to have such large, beautifully kept grounds, which not only make an incredible backdrop for wedding photos, but also an ideal space should only outdoor weddings be allowed.

Our inside space is versatile, and we have several different rooms to match up with various wedding themes.

I will be on hand to help you plan your wedding every step of the way, from the ceremony and flowers, to the entertainment and the finishing touches to ensure everything is perfect on the big day, regardless of the circumstances.
