Suffolk is bursting with beauty in the spring and early summer and to help you make the most of it, we've got five great walks to try.

The Angles Way

The Angles Way stretches all the way from Great Yarmouth to Thetford, a total of 93 miles. As such the path is best tackled in bite-sized chunks and one of the prettiest segments for a summertime stroll has to be from Bungay to Beccles, as you follow the Waveveny you will feel the romantic charm of the Suffolk countryside wash over you.

This circular walk is great for an afternoon stroll as your start/end point is The Ship Inn, so you could go after a hearty pub lunch or use the promise of a cold beer and something scrumptious to eat as fuel to get you walking. The scenery is rather delightful as you'll take in the coast, undisturbed countryside and Levington.

While Lavenham village is certainly a beautiful place, there's also so much countryside around it to explore, so use the village to refuel before or after your walk and head out to explore what makes this corner of Suffolk so special.
