One of the great natural wonders of Yorkshire

There are many famous geological structures within Yorkshire, we have the famous limestone formation at Malham Cove and its close neighbour of Gordale Scar.

On the coast there are the ancient chalk cliffs at Flamborough and Bempton, as well as the unique feature of Filey Brigg.

Further inland, in the South Pennines are the Bridestones, a formation of millstone grit rocks and boulders just east of Todmorden.

Many would claim that the most impressive of them all is Brimham Rocks, an extraordinary collection of marvellous and weirdly shaped rock formations that fills some 50 acres of Brimham Moor.

There are spectacular views of the surrounding area and the rocks themselves make for interesting subject matter. In fact, the Brimham Rocks are so photogenic there’s even a Brimham Photographic Society that has regular events and sessions.

Why don’t you upload your photos of Brimham Rocks to the reader photo gallery?
