For a spa town that is known for its greenery, Harrogate is a colourful place to visit, all year round.

The beauty of Harrogate is illustrated by the varying ranges of colour of the flora throughout the four seasons.

The Stray is home to a beautiful avenue of pink cherry blossoms as well as over six million crocuses that are on the grass verges in the Spring, while the Valley Gardens and the adjacent Pinewoods that comprise of around 17 acres of park and woodland that are a sight to behold in Autumn.

The town has several smaller parks and gardens including the Jubilee Gardens and Victoria Gardens, as well as the Crescent Gardens which is a small open area that is close to many major buildings in Harrogate including the Royal Pump House.

Further afield, RHS Garden Harlow Carr is on the west side of Harrogate and covers over 27.5 hectares with a wide range of landscapes for you to explore, from wildflower meadows to winter gardens.
