Our readers share their photos of a pretty village just outside Ramsbottom

The Peel Monument, a memorial tower dedicated to Sir Robert Peel, stands on Harcles Hill that overlooks the village of Holcombe.

The area is a popular place for walking and the views around Holcombe Moor will be a pleasure for photographer.

The Shoulder of Mutton is a great stop off point, offering modestly charged bacon and sausage butties or breakfasts, or you can enjoy your lunch with a pint.

Why don’t you upload your photos of Holcombe to the reader photo gallery?

All images uploaded to the website will be entered into the 2016 Lancashire Life reader photo competition and we pick the best ones to go into the magazine each month.
