Kirkby Lonsdale is the setting for a famous Turner painting and it’s also inspired our readers to take some masterpeices of their own.
The historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale has plenty of iconic places to take photos, the old world feel of the town centre allowed the BBC to partially film the TV show Jamaica Inn there.
The River Lune that runs by the town provides some great photo opportunities with the iconic Devil’s Bridge and Ruskin’s View.
