Enjoy colourful panoramic views from the edge of the Wirral peninsula.
West Kirby lies on the north-west corner of the Wirral Peninsula and is separated from North Wales by the Dee Estuary.
West Kirby is a lovely place to spend some time. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the manmade coastal Marine Lake, which is one of the westernmost spots on the Wirral Peninsula or perhaps walk to the islands of Hilbre, Little Eye and Middle Eye at low tide.
The views across to the Clwydian mountains in North Wales are superb and one of the simple pleasures here is a stroll along the promenade to watch the windsurfers and the fishermen rowing out to their boats.
