Many people visit the Ribble Valley for the beautiful scenery, Whalley is undoutedly one of the biggest draws.

There’s a good choice of varying subjects when photographing Whalley, it’s a pretty place and easy to see why it’s one of the most desirable places to live in the country, despite the recent floods.

The vantage point from the wooded hill called Whalley Nab gives you an impressive panorama of the surrounding area including Pendle Hill.

Whalley is famous for its two notable pieces of architecture above all else, the 14th-century Cistercian abbey is a popular visitor location, and the listed viaduct known locally as ‘Whalley Arches’, spans over 600 metres and was built in the mid 19th century.

Why don’t you upload your Whalley photos to the Lancashire Life reader photo gallery?
