One of the prettiest locations in Lancashire and home to a quaint cricket ground.

White Coppice lies on the other side of the M61 to Chorley and is a few miles north of Anglezarke reservoir and Rivington Pike.

The pretty little hamlet is famous for its cricket ground has been named one of the prettiest in the country and is the home of White Coppice cricket club which is over 140 years old.

In the 19th century White Coppice was a little less tranquil, the surrounding area was filled with rock quarries and blasting was a regular part of working life.

Thankfully these days the area is more suited to walkers, venturing out to higher ground to experience the fantastic views across the West Pennine Moors.
