SADDLE up and head for the Peak District for the Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials, three days of exciting equestrian sport involving world-class competition from elegant dressage and exciting show jumping to gripping cross-country action.

The event, from Friday May 12 to Sunday May 14, is held in the magnificent surroundings of Chatsworth Park and the organisers will again host the first leg of the Event Rider Masters’ Series. You can also see the stars of the future in the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse four and five-year-old classes.

Back by popular demand is the Arena Eventing Challenge, specifically for amateur riders and held in a grass arena which sees competitors tackle a course of show jumps immediately followed by a round of arena cross-country fences with an optimum completion time. Penalties are incurred for knock-downs, refusals and time faults.

You can book your tickets now and enjoy access to the VIP ringside members’ enclosure. Here you can enjoy relaxed surroundings, a garden area and private toilets. A licensed bar, restaurant and light refreshments will be available. Tables may also be reserved for lunch.
